Peak District 100

Our 100 mile event brings the classic ‘century’ to the Peak District for the first time; something that this trail running oasis has been crying out for.

With 50 miles in the Dark Peak and 50 miles in the White Peak, it provides an epic tour of the wonderful and varied landscapes of the UK’s original national park.

Competitors will head out from Castleton on the Friday evening along the spectacular edges of Derbyshire’s highest peak and embark on a clockwise circuit of the remote fells of the Dark Peak. The next morning will see them returning over the hills towering above the Hope Valley to Castleton, before heading out to explore the contrasting, but equally stunning, White Peak area.

High level gritstone edges, deep dales, stately homes and quintisential villages steeped in history are some of the highlights of the second half of the course, which they will share with those tackling the 50 and 33 mile courses.
